Is there a hosted before/after audio player I can embed without writing code?
Yes — that is SoundToggle. Upload two (or, on Studio, three) time-aligned versions of a track and you get a shareable link and an embed code in about a minute. The player switches between versions instantly and sample-aligned, loudness-matches them on every plan, and plays lossless on Pro and Studio. It embeds on Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, Webflow and any other site that accepts an iframe or script embed. Free plan included; no coding, hosting, transcoding or CDN to set up.
Does the player loudness-match the two versions?
Yes, on every plan. It measures each version's integrated LUFS (ITU-R BS.1770) and adjusts playback gain so both play at the same perceived loudness — the louder version can't win just by being louder. You choose per project: off, locked on, or listener's choice. On Free the measurement happens automatically in the listener's browser; Pro and Studio add in-editor measurement that shows the LUFS values, plus per-version fine-tune trims. Only playback level changes; your uploaded files are never modified.
Can I remove SoundToggle branding from the embedded player?
Yes, on Pro ($9/month) and above. Free players carry a small SoundToggle credit. Pro also unlocks all six layouts and custom colors and fonts. Every plan, Free included, can embed with a transparent background so the player sits on your site's own colors.
Is there a bandwidth or play limit on embedded players?
No. No plan caps plays or bandwidth on embedded players. Plans differ in storage, project count and features, not in how many people can listen.
