By default, referral rewards are account credit. If you'd rather be paid cash, apply from the Refer & Earn page.
How it works:
- Fill in the application (where you promote, your audience, payout email) and accept the [Affiliate Terms](https://soundtoggle.io/affiliate-terms). We review every application by hand.
- Once approved, future commissions are earned as cash. Credit you earned before approval stays as credit — it is never converted.
- Cash commissions become payable 90 days after the underlying payment (card disputes can arrive up to 120 days out, and paid cash can't be clawed back the way credit can).
- Payouts go out once your balance reaches $20, normally monthly, to your payout email.
- Cash is income you're responsible for; tax forms (W-9/W-8) are collected before the first payout past $600/year.
