Cover art is uploaded on the Edit Project page, not during initial project creation. Open your project for editing and add artwork there — you can upload a new image or reuse one from your Media Library.
Where cover art appears:
- In the player: All six layouts (Default, Minimal, Compact, Waveform, Social, Full Width) display your cover art. The Social layout makes it the centerpiece; the others show it alongside the title and controls. The Video layout shows your video instead.
- Share links: Cover art is used as the preview image when your share link is posted on social media, Slack, Discord, iMessage, etc.
- Portfolio page: Cover art appears as the project thumbnail on your portfolio.
There is no separate setting to turn artwork on or off — if a project has cover art, the player shows it. To remove it from the player, remove the artwork on the Edit Project page and save.
If you've uploaded cover art but still don't see it, save the project and refresh the player page. Note that artwork scales to fit the space the player is embedded in, so in a very narrow embed it will appear smaller.
Playlist cover art: You can set individual cover art for each track by clicking the cover art tile next to each track on the Edit Project page. Any track without its own artwork falls back to the project's cover art.
